La photographie floue d'une fleur : un désir de capturer l'éphémère dans un instantané. Damián reste pudique et inaccessible, décrivant simplement old songs 2014 comme une compilation de chansons composées pendant l'adolescence, terminées en 2021 et 2022 — en somme presque un pré-Sadness. Beaucoup de pistes instrumentales plaintives ("IIIIII", "loss") et un chant souvent discret, très calme, pas totalement juste et d'autant plus touchant ("just how much..."). Ce que compose Damián ne fane pas.
